In honor of America 250, we've developed a Self-Guided Revolutionary War Driving Tour that's offered through Labor Day weekend. The tour enables participants to visit grave markers for local American Revolutionary War veterans in five public cemeteries. Tour maps are available below, along with biographical information about a number of local Revolutionary War veterans. The same printed information also is available at the museum through September 5.

Springboro residents can learn about local history from the comfort of their own car with a total of 16 historic spots highlighted in the Springboro Area Historical Society Driving Tour. Check this Facebook link to find a Driving Tour photo album with historic property photos that help in figuring out if you have the right place.
Please keep a few ground rules in mind while touring:
- Bring a buddy who can navigate and narrate the tour.
- Be aware that many properties are private, so please stay in your car at these locations

At least 40 locations on the Underground Railroad, including Springboro, are now featured on the Ohio Historical Underground Railroad Trail.
Ohio's many Underground Railroad paths were pivotal in leading enslaved African Americans toward freedom. Stops on the Ohio trail are located in 25 Ohio counties, including walking tours in Springboro, Ripley and Oberlin, a trolley tour in Salem, and a self-guided tour of Marietta, the Multicultural Genealogical Center in Chesterhill, Historic Roscoe Village in Coshocton, and more.
